MCC will commence NEET Counselling and Seat Allotment for MBBS/ BDS seats under 15% All India Quota expectedly in August 2020. However, State level counselling for 85% seats will be organized separately by the respective state authorities. Candidates appearing for NEET 2020 and clearing NEET Cut Off required by the respective colleges can apply for admission in that college through counselling.Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be administrated by Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services. Seats will be allotted to the students as per their merit, category, and availability of seats in colleges.

Who is Eligible for NEET Counselling?
Candidates who will qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be eligible to apply for counselling. Candidates who will obtain a minimum of 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for general- physically handicapped) in NEET 2020 will be considered qualified in the exam. Further, the ministry releases a list of qualified candidates under All India Quota excluding candidates from Jammu and Kashmir to take part in 15% AIQ Counselling.
